Tone of the text

The text will appear here, word by word, while you speak. At the end of each sentence the AI takes it back and corrects it — you will see it settle.

What happens while you speak

Your voice goes straight from your browser to a transcription service hosted in the European Union. The text comes back word by word: that is the grey line at the end of the sentence. As soon as a sentence is finished it is sent to a language model that takes it back — spelling, agreement, punctuation, hesitations, numbers, acronyms — and then replaces it in the text. An unfinished sentence is never corrected: ambiguity is only settled at the full stop.

You do not have to dictate punctuation. Speak normally, pause for half a second between sentences: the full stop places itself.

A run stops by itself at 100 words, after 10 seconds of silence, or after 120 seconds. Whatever you have already dictated stays on screen, corrected.

Neither the audio nor the text is stored: it all disappears when you close the tab. To count your runs without tracking you, the server keeps a one-way fingerprint of your IP address, valid for the current window only, then erased. The address itself is never stored or logged.

Where your data goes, precisely

The voice goes from your browser to Gladia, a French company, on its European infrastructure (eu-west region). It does not leave the European Union and is not retained.

The text — and only the text — is then sent to Anthropic for correction and translation. Anthropic’s API is hosted in the United States: that transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The audio never goes there.

Saying “everything is processed in Europe” would be false, so I do not say it. If where the processing happens is a constraint for you, the same mechanism can be deployed entirely within the EU, on European infrastructure — that is a matter of configuration, not feasibility.

Who built this

My name is Nicolas Baier. I have been writing code since 2005, on my own, with no imposed framework or CMS, building the tools companies cannot buy off the shelf: business applications, internal portals, automations.

This page is not a product. It is a demo module, built to show a mechanism. Yours would be wired to your own documents, your own vocabulary and your own rules.

Frequently asked questions

Where does my voice go during dictation?

Audio is transcribed on Gladia’s European infrastructure and never leaves it. Nothing is stored: neither the audio nor the text — everything lives in your browser and disappears with the tab.

How does the text correct itself?

The transcript arrives word by word. At the end of each sentence the model takes the whole sentence and corrects it — spelling, grammar, punctuation — one sentence behind you, while you keep talking.

How good are the translations?

When you stop dictating, the corrected text is translated into French and German, in whichever of the four tones you picked. It is the mechanism behind a multilingual business correspondence tool, cut down to the essentials.

Why is the dictation limited?

Two minutes, about a hundred words, three runs per visitor over 48 hours and one dictation at a time: these demos run on pay-per-use services. The limits protect a free showcase.

What is this mechanism for in a business?

Dictated reports, field notes, multilingual correspondence: the same chain slots into your existing tools. That is the ground covered by bespoke process automation.

Does this module speak to you?

Tell me in two lines what you would want it to do at your company. I reply within 24 hours, with no sales follow-up.

Or, more simply: fifteen minutes on the phone.
